We answer all questions around the 7th KTM Festival here.

How is the procedure of the trainings?
For every track will be evaluated a group size which allows riders to use the track with as much fun and safety as possible. This selected size enters the track and can use it for 20 to 30 minutes, depending on the track.

After each turn the group has to leave the track and the next group waiting at the inlet can enter the track.

Which bikes are allowed to ride on the Hungaroring?
Following bikes can be ridden on the Hungaroring: Super Duke, Super Duke R, Duke (I,II), 950 Adventure, 990 Adventure, and all KTM Supermoto models from 620 ccm.

Will there be a ranking by different classes within the competitions?
No there are no different classes within the competitions. There will be one winner in supermoto, one winner in motocross and one winner on the enduro track.

Is there the Super-Champ again?
Yes, also on the 7th KTM Festival will be evaluated the best of all three disciplines and nominated as the Super-Champ.

Is there a ladies competition?
For the first time, a ladies competition is planned for the 7th KTM Festival, depending on the number of registered riders.

Is there a minicross ranking?
No, there won't be any ranking on the minicross track.

Is there a ranking on the Hungaroring?
No, also on the Hungaroring won't be a ranking.

Can I lend protective gear for myself?
No, every participant has to bring his own protective gear.

Can I buy spare parts on the festival area?
Yes there will be the possibility to buy the most needed spare parts and a selected range of PowerWear and PowerParts products.

What about meals on the festival area?
Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be offered on the festival area. Snacks and drinks can be bought during the day.

When can I arrive?
You can arrive from Thursday, 6 September. The registration for the festival opens on Thursday, 6 September at 1.00 pm and stays open until 10.00 pm. On Friday, 7 September, the registration opens at 7.00 am.

When is departure?
Departure is on Monday, 10 September until 10.00 am.

Can everybody have electricity?
The camping grounds are in the paddock, which is equipped with enough power points.

Are the camping grounds affixed?
Yes, the whole camping area is on tarmac.

Showers with hot water?
Yes, in the paddock are showers with hot water.

How far away are the tracks from the camping ground?
The camping grounds are in the paddock, thus located centrally in the festival area. Depending on the track the distance lies between 500 m and 2000 m.

Is barbecue allowed on the camping area?
Yes, barbecue is allowed out of doors. Precondition is a safe grill and permanent supervision of the fire.

Is there a location to wash my bike?
Yes, there is a washing facility equipped with pressure washers.

Is there a possibility to participate in guided tours?
Yes, there is a range of street tours offered. Participation either with own bike, or possibility to rent a bike. Law of supply and demand is effective.

Is there a special program for children?
Yes, we are currently working on some program items for children, beside the activities on the minicross track.

Is there a supporting program for accompanying persons?
Yes, we are also working on a supporting program for accompanying persons.

Is it allowed to bring your own meals (drinks, food) to the camping grounds?
Yes.

Can I bring my pets?
No, pets aren't allowed.

Is there a cash machine on the festival area?
No. None on the festival area.

Is it possible to rent a motorcycle during the festival?
It will not be possible to rent a motorcycle for the entire duration of the festival. Motorcycles can be rent to ride one test ride lap on the Hungaroring. Test motorcycles will also be available for rent on a first-come-first-served basis for the guided tours.

Is it possible to organize rental motorcycles?
No, the bikes cannot be reserved in advance; instead they will be given out at the festival strictly according to the registration order. A valid driver’s license must be presented when booking a test ride and all those participating must also sign a legal disclaimer. 

Do I have to be a good rider to take part in the KTM Festival?
Regardless of how well you can ride a motorcycle, there is something for everyone at the KTM Festival. Our factory riders are there to give tips and information to beginners and offer courses on how to improve personal riding style. The hotshots can prove themselves in the individual competitions on the Enduro, Supermoto and Motocross courses and compete with each other for the title of the "Super Champ".

When and where will the next KTM Festival take place?
The next KTM Festival will be held in 2009. The location has not yet been defined. What is decided is that it will be held in another European country and not in Hungary again.

Is there a decibel limit for the Hungaroring area?
No, there is no decibel limit for the Hungaroring area. However, vehicles without silencers are in principle not allowed.

How much does the KTM Festival cost for participants?
The entrance fee for the KTM Festival is € 99.00 and includes three days use of all the courses, on-site camping and a Welcome Package.

I don’t own a KTM. Can I share a bike with a friend?
Each rider has their own start number, transponder and a personal ID band, regardless of whether they are taking part in the competition or not. Therefore it is only possible when the motorcycle has a second set of front and side panels on which the start number and the transponder of the second rider can be fitted. These must be changed over every time the rider changes. Each rider is also obliged to pay the full entry price.

Will it still be possible to register for the KTM
In principle yes, but as the number of participants is limited, to provide every customer the best condition on the racetracks, it might be possible that there will be no more places available.

What's about the cancellation fees if I cancel my registration?
In case of cancellation the conditions are as follows:
20% of the Participants fee for termination 8 weeks or more before the start of the KTM Festival
50% of the Participants fees for termination from 4 to 8 weeks before the commencement of the KTM Festival
85% of the Participants fees up to four weeks before the commencement of the KTM Festival, or for no shows at the festival itself

Which track which bike?
Motocross track: Each KTM Motocross, Enduro, LC4 Model and 950 Super Enduro R
Enduro track: Each KTM Enduro, Motocross, LC4 Model and 950 Super Enduro R
Supermoto: Each KTM Supermoto, Motocross, Enduro und LC4 Model with 17" tyres
Minicross: Riding on the minicross track only under supervision of an adult person.
Ring: Super duke, Super Duke R, Duke, 950/990 Adventure and each KTM Supermoto model from 620 cc.
